AcroYoga Tune Up 3/12/21 w/ Dan & Paula 🇺🇸

Tune in and get curious about technique. This class will focus on refining our acro practice through conditioning drills & sequences, moving with intentionality, and reinforcing effective motor patterns. We will build a strong foundation for ourselves as a means to develop efficiency in our movements and unlock new levels in our practice. This class focuses on the skills in the fundamental skill set, which are prerequisites for all intermediate classes.
All levels. Some experience required
English with Spanish support.
Dan is a yogi, acrobat, and teacher, specializing in Vinyasa and AcroYoga. He received his 200-Hour certification from Nature Yoga Sanctuary in Chicago and has been practicing yoga since 2007. He trained in acrobatics with the FLIC Scuola di Circo (circus school) in Torino, Italy, the Accademia dell-Arte in Arezzo, Italy, and the Aloft Loft in Chicago. He is also the co-founder and co-artistic director of Aura Curiatlas Physical Theatre, which performs throughout the US and Europe, and the co-creator of the Chicago AcroYoga Festival.
Paula has been practicing Yoga and AcroYoga since 2009. She is a Certified Yoga and AcroYoga Level 2 teacher. Paula is a practicing Thai bodyworker and graduated from the Blue Lotus Thai Healing Studies program where she assisted her teacher in developing their program. Paula continues to study yoga, bodywork, and acrobatics as often as she can and is grateful for the teachers that have guided her in her path. She’s had the privilege of sharing her movement practice with many communities but is most grounded and joyful in Chicago.
